Storage & Handling Guidelines
All products are manufactured using the lyophilization (freeze-drying) process, a controlled dehydration technique designed to preserve molecular integrity and structural stability during transport and storage. When properly stored in their lyophilized form, products remain stable for extended periods and are suitable for standard shipping conditions.
Lyophilization, also known as cryodesiccation, involves freezing the compound followed by exposure to reduced pressure. This process allows water to sublimate directly from solid to vapor, resulting in a dry, stable crystalline powder that maintains compound integrity until reconstitution.
Stability Prior to Reconstitution
Lyophilized peptides may be stored at room temperature for short-term handling. For optimal stability, refrigeration below 4°C (39°F) is recommended upon receipt. For extended storage (several months to years), freezing at -80°C (-112°F) is preferred to preserve long-term molecular stability. Protect from direct light and moisture exposure.
Stability After Reconstitution
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water:
Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. When stored under proper refrigerated conditions, solutions typically maintain stability for up to 30 days.
All handling should be conducted in accordance with appropriate laboratory standards and research protocols.
