About GHRP-6
GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 6) is a synthetic hexapeptide and ghrelin mimetic that acts as a selective agonist at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR-1a). It has a molecular formula of C46H56N12O6 and a molecular weight of 873.01 g/mol.
GHRP-6 is used extensively in in vitro preclinical research into growth hormone secretagogue receptor pharmacology. Studies have characterised its receptor binding kinetics, dose-response profiles, and interactions with endogenous ghrelin at GHSR-1a. It is a standard research comparator in GHS receptor studies and is widely used in endocrinological research models.
