There is no “HGH healing protocol.” I swear to god I think some of y’all still believe in Santa Claus.
1.7iu directly into the injury every 2 hours
#42
Yes, that is the question I’m after, you are correct sir. And since I just had surgery on my Achilles what’s the optimal HGH protocol for healing?
There is no optimal really. It’s just the same as always, where essentially more will work better. You don’t have to do anything special with the gh to make it “optimized” towards healing.
#43
Can you explain why
I’ve only run generics once so limited sample size and anecdotally but they felt weaker and made me retain more water

2 IUs is good for health and longevity. 4 to 6 IUs more for building quality muscle.
This right here!

Actually, as an older guy I would argue that he actually needs GH for the longevity and health benefits more that a younger person would (because younger folks still produce more endogenous GH)- the question is, to get those baseline health and longevity benefits- can they be achieved with just 1-2 IUs a day?
Also, the more I read about IGF levels and aging, the more I wonder if there is a chicken or the egg relationship between GH and IGF...
GH is probably one of the worst drugs you can take for "longevity" - IGF is anti-long life. Its one of the only very very few things that doctors around the world agree on, to keep IGF levels low if you want to live long.

This is true, if you factor in only age as the factor- the conundrum comes into play when you consider quality of life. So the risk assessment/ ROI is: is it better to last a few years less, but with better mobility, more muscle/mobility, more vitality etc.? Or is it simply how long can you last? I think that answer is definitely different depending on the person.
Now another interesting question is- when/how do you know when exogenous GH is giving you diminishing returns..? Does GH help battle sarcopenia? Bone/joint issues? These are the things I'd love to get more detail on.

I have much better joint mobility/energy and my physique looks sharper off GH than on it. GH is really only good for improving recovery rates and improving sleep quality and even that, there's better ways to accomplish it. I have to say the worst part about GH (elevating blood sugar) can be used as an advantage if you pulse it at the correct time.
If you want to get huge then there's no way around using GH and insulin everyday. But that's obviously not related to longevity at all.

Cast on my right foot right now so no direct injection so systemic will have to work for now. Appreciate the reply.

I was always curious about this myself. I myself have never ran GH but have one kit which I know isn’t enough..I already had the mindset to run 3-4iu to start out and gradually increase when I can afford it.

at 57 years old 2iu a day feels like a lot... when I first tried HGH 25 years ago that amount would do absolutely nothing
#54
I posted it before. TRT + 1.2 iu genotropin straight from pharmacy, look on IGF level. I was in shock myself as didn't expected this. So depending on goal and individual respond, 2 iu may do the job
What is interesting, hgh level was in mid range
I didn’t check GH serum, but this is 428 IGF was drawn about 10 hours or so after pinning about 2iu.
I’m currently running about 3.2iu and will be going to 4+ after restocking. 2iu has been good to me, but never ran more to compare. Will see how it goes.

I'm the same way! I used to regularly run 4-8iu/day it was just no big deal if I even considered potential side effects it was just "what can I deal with?" not anything health related. I would get numb hands at night but they would go away when I woke up and I didn't think anything about it. Of course not monitoring glucose or anything smart like that. Insulin, lots of that too.
Now 2iu is really too much for me. I don't like the feeling it contributes, stiffness, inflammation, deeper sleep yes thats true and wonderful but I've got better ways to sleep deep than GH. Its not the only drug/supp that gets you to that super deep sleep state.
I do like 1-1.5iu just for replacement dosage now.

Any links or supporting docs on this? I have "heard" this before but never seen anything to support it.

It works both ways - both too low and too high IGF-1 levels are harmful. Definitely at a certain age, it's worth keeping IGF-1 levels within the normal range

There is a lot of research, takes 1 min to find them only if you want to..

I saw that one via google search. I was hoping there was something more compelling one way or another.

yes, that's why I think 1-1.5iu is the best GH dosage for older guys just looking to optimize.
