ProKidney - Pioneers in the Treatment of Chronic Kidney

Over 35 million U.S. adults have CKD with approximately 135,000 patients progressing to dialysis every year. Therapeutic options to delay the need for dialysis in patients with advanced CKD at high risk of kidney failure are limited. While approved therapies for patients with CKD have been shown to delay disease progression in some patients, many continue to lose kidney function. Management of patients in Stage 4 CKD is largely focused on addressing their comorbidities and preparing them for dialysis.
