Local injection: Inject as close to the injury site as possible. 200–300 mcg twice daily.
Cycle: 4–8 weeks with a 2–4 week break.
Vial Reconstitution
Reconstituting a 5 mg vial with 2 ml bacteriostatic water gives 2500 mcg/ml:
250 mcg = 0.1 ml = 10 units (U-100) 500 mcg = 0.2 ml = 20 units (U-100)
Storage
Lyophilized powder: room temperature up to 3 months or refrigerator up to 2 years. After reconstitution: refrigerate, use within 7–10 days.
Important Warnings
Not an FDA-approved drug — for research purposes only. Tissue repair requires adequate caloric intake — undereating slows regeneration. Contraindicated in pregnant women and those with active cancer.
