How to Take Sermorelin
Sermorelin is administered by an injection once daily, just before bedtime. It’s injected just under the skin with a tiny needle with minimal discomfort. It is important to inject Sermorelin at night because the process that stimulates HGH production occurs while you sleep.
What is Sermorelin?
Sermorelin is known as a growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). That means that it is a bioidentical peptide that is commonly used to stimulate our body to produce growth hormones. Sermorelin is NOT HGH! It simply stimulates HGH. This provides the body with the benefits of a human growth hormone without the risk typically associated with HGH. When we are young, we have high levels of HGH to enable us to grow and mature into adults. Starting at age 30 human aging is accompanied by declining growth hormones (HGH) and IGF-1 levels for both men and women. From that point onward is when we begin to see the visible signs of aging.
What to Expect
The benefits of Sermorelin Therapy can take up to 3-6 months to really notice a difference. After this time, the level of HGH is increased and the Sermorelin dose may be dropped to only a few injections per week as a maintenance dose. Patients may experience improved skin elasticity, fuller hair, better mental function, more defined muscle tone and increase in sex drive, energy level, stamina, and bone density. With injectable Sermorelin treatment, patients may also experience deeper, more restful sleep and improved recovery time from illness or injury. Patients may see a decrease in fat, wrinkles, cellulite, fatigue, and depression, as well as possible improvements in cholesterol level and any muscle or joint pain.
TREATMENT DURATION
Some patients can go off treatment after just 3-6 months and continue to feel all the benefits for quite a while.
Others will need to go six months or a year before their HGH production is sufficiently stimulated.
Some patients continue to use GHRH therapy for many years and have suffered no unwanted side effects.
In most cases, you won’t have to take Sermorelin forever, because its effects are ongoing, even after your last injection treatment. Once you achieve optimal results, you may choose to be put on a maintenance regimen instead of daily injections to maintain these results.
COMBINING HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY WITH SERMORELIN THERAPY
As we age, our HGH levels drop, but that’s not the only hormone that tends to decline. Testosterone, estrogen, progesterone can also drop, exacerbating all the symptoms of low HGH. When you combine Sermorelin Therapy with testosterone therapy, the results can be even more effective.
