BPC-157 Dosage Calculator: Reconstitution and Units
To calculate BPC-157 dosage, divide your target dose (mg) by the vial concentration. Concentration = vial mg ÷ BAC water mL. For a 5 mg vial with 2 mL BAC water: concentration is 2.5 mg/mL. A 0.25 mg dose equals 0.1 mL (10 U-100 units) on a standard insulin syringe.

How to Calculate BPC-157 Dosage
Three steps convert any vial and BAC water combination into the exact volume to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe.
Step 1 — Calculate concentration (mg/mL)
Step 2 — Calculate draw volume (mL)
Step 3 — Convert to U-100 syringe units
Dosage Formula
Concentration formula
Draw volume formula
U-100 syringe units
These three formulas apply to any BPC-157 vial, regardless of size. U-100 is the standard insulin-syringe scale: 100 units = 1 mL.

Example BPC-157 Calculations
Step-by-step worked examples using common vial sizes. Results are for illustrating the math only.
5 mg vial + 2 mL BAC water, 0.25 mg dose
Vial: 5 mg | BAC water: 2 mL | Target dose: 0.25 mg
Concentration: 5 ÷ 2 = 2.5 mg/mL
Draw volume: 0.25 ÷ 2.5 = 0.1 mL
U-100 units: 0.1 × 100 = 10 units
5 mg vial + 2 mL BAC water, 0.5 mg dose
Vial: 5 mg | BAC water: 2 mL | Target dose: 0.5 mg
Draw volume: 0.5 ÷ 2.5 = 0.2 mL
U-100 units: 0.2 × 100 = 20 units
BPC-157 Reconstitution Guide
BPC-157 is typically supplied as a lyophilised powder. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water (BAC water):
Wipe the vial stopper and BAC water vial with an alcohol swab.
Draw your chosen BAC water volume (commonly 2 mL for a 5 mg vial) into a sterile syringe.
Inject slowly along the vial wall — do not spray onto the powder or agitate aggressively.
Gently roll or swirl until fully dissolved. The solution should be clear and colourless.
Store refrigerated (2–8 °C). Use within 4 weeks for best stability.
BPC-157 is often discussed at doses between 200 mcg (0.2 mg) and 500 mcg (0.5 mg) in research contexts. Convert mcg to mg by dividing by 1000.
Frequently Asked Questions
Divide your target dose (mg) by the concentration (mg/mL). Concentration = vial mg ÷ BAC water mL. For a 5 mg vial + 2 mL BAC: 2.5 mg/mL. For 0.25 mg dose: 0.25 ÷ 2.5 = 0.1 mL = 10 U-100 units.
U-100 is the standard scale for insulin syringes. 100 units = 1.0 mL. That means 10 units = 0.1 mL, 50 units = 0.5 mL. Multiply any draw volume in mL by 100 to get the U-100 units reading.
Yes. Changing BAC water volume changes the concentration (mg/mL), which changes the draw volume for the same mg dose. Always recalculate using: concentration = vial mg ÷ BAC water mL, then draw volume = dose mg ÷ concentration.
Divide mcg by 1000 to get mg. For example: 250 mcg = 0.25 mg, 500 mcg = 0.5 mg, 1000 mcg = 1 mg. Enter the mg value in the calculator.
